Things To Do On a COVID, Rainy, OR Otherwise DAY IN!

So we used to think of rainy days in, and depending on where in the country or world you live, you might also consider snow days in (I certainly did as a kiddo in Washington, D.C.). Nowadays we think of COVID days in and what to do with ourselves!

I am always so appreciative of contributions community allies and friends share for addition to my resources page and blog posts. The page below was shared compliments of Leslie W.

Among activities listed for What You Can Still Do on a Rainy Day – ClimaCell Weather Blog, some of my personal favorites to recommend to clients are virtual tours of international sites/museums/beautiful hotels/waterways; taking a warm bubble bath; mindful coloring; a Do-It-Yourself project (I’ve done many of these, see my previous blog post here with photos); virtual game nights with friends/strangers; pampering yourself with great skincare/facials at home; and working on puzzles. See the ClimaCell article for more ideas to try alone, with family, with friends, or meet strangers! Physical distancing doesn’t have to mean social distancing! After all, one of my favorite pivots during the 2020 COVID19 year was the creation of a monthly online quote share called Nuggets of Wisdom where friends and strangers come together to share quotes, poetry, affirmations, and other words of inspiration as we uplift one another! Message me to get on the invite list for a future event!

Find more ideas, online videos for entertainment and inspiration, and communities gifts on my resources page, and enjoy my book, Don’t Be a Stranger, for ideas on investing more in others.
