Transportation/Errand Support for Seniors – GoGoGrandparent!

Do you have/know a loved one who is aging and wanting to live independently at home safely for as long as possible but who perhaps isn’t as technology-savvy to use Uber/Lyft or other smart-phone / online-platformed supports? I don’t know too much about this resource personally but it sounds wonderful and I’ve passed it on to patients and their families to look into so wanted to share it with you as well! As always, please do your due diligence to look into how it works. There might be a subscription fee as I see an option for a one-month free trial thru their website.

GoGoGrandparent is a community resources that provide services for ordering rides, grocery delivery, pharmacy delivery, meals, home chores and more without reliance on technology/smart phones and is designed for use with older adults wanting to live independently in their homes as long as possible.

Their trained concierge team members are available by telephone to help put doctor’s visits, medication delivery, dietary restrictions and groceries on autopilot, accessing services from partners like Uber, Doordash, and Instacart, with or without a smartphone, 24/7. Drivers are screened, preferred vehicle sizes entered, and pickups & driver GPS are managed for increased safety and reliability.
